Career opportunities at ILA 

Teachers

Vietnamese students are a pleasure to teach! They are dedicated and highly motivated with a great sense of humour which makes teaching fun and interactive at all levels and age groups. At ILA there are opportunities to teach across a wide range of ages and levels. Our young learners are split into ILA Jumpstart (4 - 6), ILA Juniors (6 - 11), ILA Seniors (11 - 15) and ILA Elite (16 - 18). There are 9 levels from beginner to advanced. In all young learner classes there is a teaching assistant to help with classroom management and communicating with parents.

Academic Coordinators

Academic Coordinators split their time between teaching and providing support to teachers. This includes inductions, which each teacher receives when starting with ILA, on-going teacher training, help in finding resources and assistance with preparing lessons. They also develop resources and teaching materials as well as conduct workshops.

Academic Managers and Assistant Academic Managers

Academic Managers and Assistant Academic Managers are responsible for the day to day operations of each training centre. They facilitate teacher development through observations and feedback and provide support by answering teachers’ questions and resolving issues, conducting workshops, and overseeing material development.
 
Teaching Support Staff

Each training centre is fully equipped with a broad range of supplementary materials, including books, videos, CDs, DVDs, and computers which the support staff manage and update.
