INTRODUCTION

We offer a portfolio of training programmes specifically designed to meet the challenges faced by individuals and organisations in Vietnam. Our Client base is extensive, encompassing multi-national and local corporations, Vietnamese and foreign governmental and non-governmental organisations. Training is available at an ILA Training Centre or at premises identified by the client. Establishing Training Need We establish training needs through a consultation and a pre-training English language assessment, which all participants have to attend. Our Courses We offer an extensive range of general and industry specific courses. In addition, we can tailor courses to meet the specific requirements of clients and the needs of course participants. Trainers Our team of English language training professionals plays an integral role in the success of our training courses. All trainers are native English speaking university graduates, holding inter¬nationally recognised English language training qualifications and have extensive training experience. Materials Each student receives a complete set of the most appropriate and up-to-date learning materials. In addition, trainers incorporate a wide range of supplementary materials to provide extra practice and to ensure lessons are interesting, effective and enjoyable. Training Resources All ILA centres include Teaching Support Centres, dedicated facilities for trainers, with an extensive range of learning and training resources. Academic Management team Academic management team members all hold advanced level qualifications in English language teaching and bring extensive teaching and management experience, gained from around the world, to ILA Vietnam. Trainers are regularly observed and mentored by members of the academic management team to ensure high quality standards are continually achieved. Learning and Teaching Methodologies We utilise the most effective, up to date and appropriate learning and teaching methodologies in all of our programmes. Participant Assessment Participant assessment is an important feature of our training courses. We closely monitor the progress of each participant. In addition we incorporate formal examinations into courses [as required]. We also offer specialised training for a number of international English language examinations, including: TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, and Cambridge ESOL. Certification Each student, who successfully completes a course, receives a Certificate of Achievement from ILA. This can be used to verify ability when applying for work or further study within Vietnam or overseas. Keeping Clients informed Our clients receive regular feedback on the progress of each course participant, including information on attendance, participation, progress and achievements. FACILITIESTraining Centres ILA training centres are purpose built to the highest specifications. Classroom ILA classrooms are comfortable, well-lit, ventilated, air conditioned and are designed for effective teaching and learning. The maximum number of students per class is 16 to 18. Independent Learning Centres Independent Learning Centres (ILCs) are located in all ILA centres. They provide students with access to an extensive range of self study resources. ILCs include; computer labs with internet access and multi-media learning programmes, listening stations, resource books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, newspapers, etc. WELFARE, HEALTH AND SAFETYWe take all reasonable steps to ensure the welfare and safety of our students while they are on the premises CUSTOMER SERVICEAll ILA training centres maintain high standards of professional conduct in all dealings with students, clients, staff and the general public. We maintain clear and documented processes for dealing with student issues and complaints INDEPENDENT QUALITY ASSESSMENTTo ensure our quality standards are met, we undergo comprehensive quality assessments, conducted by leading, international, independent English language teaching consultants. |
